This site originally begun as the intial site for formation of the SOSSIG under TCEA and later as an 'alternative site' for SOSSIG under TCEA. The domain name (sosoftexas.org) was offered to the SIG but officers at the time would not consider purchasing (would rather register yet another domain than spend one dime ... go figure!). SIG no longer needs an alternative site so the site is now the 'mess' of one of the founding members of the SOSSIG.
This site is also changing it's name to 'Spirit of Sharing - Texas' (still SOS). Below is the SOSSIG Mission and Goals with link in case visitors are lost. Or you could hang around here and check out the content shared concerning open source and especially the 'dynamic duo' Joomla and Moodle (2 OS and free apps every ISD in the State Texas should run or have access to (IMHO!).
