First, please view the following: http://www.microsoft-watch.com/content/vista/eweek_survey_vista_gimme_xp.html http://arstechnica.com/journals/apple.ars/2008/03/03/tim-cook-apple-has-passed-dell-to-the-head-of-the-class http://www.extremetech.com/article2/0,1697,2276003,00.asp Pictures are worth? 1000 words? (note: Oct. of 2007) http://losingcontext.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/10/look-at-them-apples.jpg "Apple is no doubt banking that if a student uses a Mac for four years in school, they will likely prefer to continue using one once they graduate. This could mean increased market share as college grads move into the workforce." Hmmmm ... so it may not be what Mom and Dad have at home that determines the future of Ed. Tech in public schools after all! It may not be in a students best interest to be well-trained on just one platform either ... could be detrimental to their success in higher ed! Actually, it won't be one or the other ... it will be the "best tool for the job". Will that, however, be enough to change an ISD's thinking about "one world".
