Forrester vs. Gartner ... Web 2.0 ... who's right? 14 July 2008 Techies to help push Web 2.0 technologies By CG Lynch, CIO.com "... according to a new Forrester report that found that 63 percent of IT professionals expected to see Web 2.0 technologies have a moderate or substantial impact on the business." "... the Forrester report is in stark contrast with a recent one from Gartner, which claimed that IT was an inhibitor to the take-up of newer technologies." Along those same lines and logic ... IF an ISD uses "we must have X because students will face X in their future", then it should also (probably) follow that if Corp usage of Web 2.0 is increasing then ISD usage of Web 2.0 should also. That make sense?
